Linda started Bolder Events in 2007 to address a gap in services offered by most traditional event planners. She holds an undergraduate degree from Denver University as well as an MBA from the University of Colorado. Linda has extensive event planning experience and has also worked as a corporate trainer for Hallmark Cards. She specializes in helping organizations use technology as a strategic planning tool. Linda is an active volunteer in her community and is a proud recipient of the Cherry Creek School District- Exceptional Volunteer award in 2007 and again in 2009.
Mary holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She “grew up” in the hospitality industry, working as a restaurant & hotel manager for many years. Mary also worked as the Finance Manager of Colorado POS. Mary is an extremely dedicated community volunteer. She has held leadership positions in a variety of non-profit organizations and has chaired countless fundraisers for Inter-faith Community Services, Geneva Glen Camp and The American Society in Sydney. Mary joined the Bolder Events team in 2012 after working together with Linda as Co-PTO Presidents.
Tricia joined the Bolder Events team in 2015 after moving from Washington DC. She has worn many hats in the hospitality industry including wedding planner, large conference coordinator and youth programs developer. Tricia serves on various non-profit committees and boards in Boulder offering hands on service to improve fundraising, event planning, and mission efforts. Tricia is a mother of 3 adventurous teens and 1 playful pup. She enjoys all seasons of the great outdoors, spending time at the local goat dairy, and exploring all corners of the globe with her husband and children.
Karla joined Bolder Events in 2017. She has had a long history in the North Metro area in sales, marketing and customer service. Karla’s dedication to her clients, customer service skills and unmatched attention to detail has made her a valuable asset in her short time with Bolder Events. Karla shares her passion for kids by volunteering at her son’s school and as a CASA Advocate for neglected and abused children in Adams County. In the past 5 years she has served for the non-profit as an Advocate, Peer Coordinator and has earned the honors of Advocate of the Month. Karla is the mother of 2 boys and enjoys spending her time with family traveling and venturing in the great Colorado outdoors.
Kaitlyn is the tech guru of Bolder Events. She has been with the company since 2010 and has extensive experience working fundraising events of all sizes. Kaitlyn recently completed her Master of Science – Information Systems Business Intelligence from the University of Colorado, Denver. In her spare time, Kaitlyn plays soccer and enjoys anything outdoors in the great state of Colorado!
Danya is a Colorado native – born and raised in Northglenn. She received an Associate’s Degree along with a Computer Network Support Certificate from Front Range Community College. Danya has years of technical support experience at IBM and is truly a tech wizard! She loves working at Bolder Events because of the amazing people and gallant non-profit organizations she gets to work with. Danya is an animal lover at heart – to some she is simply known as “the crazy cat lady”! In her spare time Danya spends as much time as possible with her kids, grandkids and her beloved cats.
Thompson is a Colorado native, born and raised in Centennial. He is a graduate of Grandview High School and is currently studying business management at Arapahoe Community College. Thompson is an Eagle Scout and enjoys playing soccer and rock climbing in his spare time. When asked what he likes most about working for Bolder Events, “the people I get to work with are amazing”!
Haley joined the Bolder Events team in 2014 and has worked well over 100 events. Haley loves the people and fast pace of event management. She is currently studying Hospitality, Events & Meeting Management at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Haley will graduate in May of 2018 and looks forward to continue working as an event planner. When she is not at work or school she enjoys traveling the world, watching football and spending time with friends and family.
Alli has recently moved back to Colorado after graduating from the University of Kansas. While enjoying the great outdoors of Colorado, Alli also enjoys taking ballet classes and performing when she is able. Alli enjoys working with Bolder Events and meeting a wide variety of clients. She loves learning about the non-profits and the great services that they provide to the Denver area.
Corey joined the Bolder Events team in 2016. He graduated with a degree in Communications from CU Denver in 2012. He’s currently the Operations Director for Town Hall Arts Center, a small non-profit performing arts center in Littleton, CO where he grew up. Corey has gained a wealth of experience in event planning working in the arts. He enjoys live music, Mexican food and having fun in the sun!
